Julio’s dedication and curiosity for the world of wines began in 2006 in France, and since then, he has developed his career in the industry, working in Argentina, the United States, and recently landing in Spain as the general manager of Bodega Numanthia since December 2023. HIs dedication turned into passion, allowing him to delve into both vineyard and winery operations as well as the commercial mechanics of the sector on a global level.

He holds a degree in economics from the Universidad de Valencia, a master’s in management of Sustainable Development from the Université de Nantes and has completed an executive development program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

His experience and training will enable him to start a new chapter at Bodega Numanthia with the objective of positioning it at the pinnacle of Spanish wines. To achieve this, he will continue to support initiatives that further enhance the quality of the wines and sustainable practices. The winery, which boasts ungrafted vineyards up to 200 years old, was founded with an artisanal profile and with the purpose of making wines with soul and genuine authenticity, thus differentiating itself from the homogeneity brought by major trends.
