From Rioja, always involved in wine, in the management of Bodegas Palacio, where he met Carmen Enciso. He went through all the areas from Finance, Export, up to the top management as CEO. He founded VALENCISO to do what he knew to do after 15 years with Jean Gervais. His grandparents were farmers, one sentence summarize his  view: “in spite of the beautiful winery buildings,  we are a business with no walls or roof””
