CEO on Arínzano estate vineyards
Renowned winemaker Manuel Louzada has joined SPI Group as CEO of Stoli Group’s prestige wine division, Tenute del Mondo.
Manuel brings extensive global winemaking and estate management experience including many years in Argentina, Portugal, France and Spain, where he achieved a
perfect 100-point score from Robert Parker.
Most recently, Manuel was Estate Director and Winemaker at Bodegas Numanthia where he was able to make great wine including the 100 point Teramanthia and Termes (which achieved #2 on Wine Spectator’s top 100 list).
In 2015 Manuel Louzada was appointed head of global winemaking operations and CEO of Stoli Group’s prestige wine division, Tenute del Mondo. This luxury wine
portfolio includes Arinzano, the first Pago de Vino in Northeast Spain, critically acclaimed Argentinean winery Achaval-Ferrer, and Italian estates Tenuta dell’Ornellaia, Castelgiocondo and Luce della Vite, a joint-venture with Marchesi de Frescobaldi.
Manuel continues to operate from Spain´s prestigious Pago Classified winery, Arínzano, and he is closely involved in Achaval-Ferrer´s operations, spending long stays in Argentina. He is the senior winemaker at both outstanding properties.
